Duck entertainment-any ideas from chook owners?

    Muscovies are simply... different. If you want duck eggs get Khaki Campbells, Welsh Harlequins or Silver Appleyards, all of which are good layers. If you want eggs, but also to eat surplus drakes, forget the Campbells, because they don't fatten up well.
    If you just fancy having ducks about the place, stick to the call ducks, they eat less and are cute.

        Not really. They may be a bit more 'talkative' than others, but the voice isn't actually any louder. They were originally bred as living decoys for duck shooters, to 'call' in mallard to the gun (that is why the ones the same colour as wild ducks were not so common, avoids confusion). These days they are pets.
        Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

          i have always wanted 2 little white ducks on a pond in my garden, (ok maybe a bit silly lol) and little baby ducks every year ...... i always imagined i'd have them one day, hopefully i'm going to have a huge pond next year, and chickens, so i might finally be able to get my ducks
