We have 6 laying Isa browns who live in a large ark and have access to a 50 sq metre run amongst the gooseberriy and blackcurrant bushes. They lie below the bushes in hot weather and go into their ark at nightime. But when it rains they insist on walking around in the open until the water is running off them. Would it be kinder to shut them inside the ark in wet weather? There is plenty of shelter in their run but they refuse to make use of it when its raining.
