I used to visit my Dad's uncle in Essex in the 1950's and he kept his chickens in an old coach/bus in his garden
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.

How's the mini-project coming along? I saw a pic the other day of half an old car (back half) next to a fence so that it looked as if the car had driven through it, converted to a coop. It looked brilliant
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

it's still in his front garden lol, hopefully he's going to get the engine out this weekend so we can move it round the back of the house, i've got some wire net for the cage bit, and will get the wood once we get the car stripped out.

i did think that, but it's been sat in the garden 6 years ........ anyway, there has been a change of plan ....... i still love the mini idea, but i've just been offered a shed on freecycle, and we're picking it up tomorrow ....... maybe i could cut the top off the mini and use it as a raised veggie bed?

i'm so excited as theres a chicken rescue this month and one in August, so hopefully will soon have some new chickens ...... i'm excited
