WE took the plunge today & let the chicks(not really chicks anymore~about 16wks?)out to play with the other 10.Things weren't too bad~a couple of the older ones gave a bit of "I'm Boss" treatment,but nothing too nasty so I went to do some weeding & left the kiddies to keep a watchful eye. A while later I could hear Daisy(6) "now you think about it".. "No you need to think about it~How would you feel if I were a bigger chicken than you & I kept pecking you?"~she'd popped the bigger chicken into the coop & refused to let it out till it had done it's thinking!!!Bless her~I worry I'm a bit mad chatting away to them,but I've never put them on a timeout!!
