Just noticed and clicked on the heading at the bottom of the page!

If mine don't start laying I'll just have to start training them as athletes for next years event!

One training method would be enticing them to one end of run and then lobbing a lettuce to t'other end.
Stand back and watch 'em go!

EDIT: that looks fun, but if I go for it Himself will be finally convinced that I have actually lost the plot!!
