I will hopefully be getting quite a few eggs from my chooks before long and someone mentioned writing the date on in pencil so the older eggs don't get mixed up with the fresh eggs.
To take this one step further and help speed things up, can you buy a date stamp for eggs which can be changed each day?
I've seen them in Post Offices but don't know whether they would be any good for eggs?
Also how long can you keep fresh eggs for in a fridge?
