  • Hatched chick

I tried incubating 6 fertilized eggs but sadly only one hatched ,she is doing really well though. I`m a little worried that as a loner there are going to be problems later on, does anyone around know where I can get some other chicks from around the bedford area?.

    Cheers

Can't answer you question but congratulations on getting even one to hatch.

I will soon be sticking 6 eggs under a broody chook and will be pleased if I get anything!

all of our chickens we have got at the moment are from incubating them and we have got 6 and we also tried for the first time with duck eggs and they were all a success too.

We love to see the chicks growing inside of the eggs.

but it does depend on which incubator that you use we have got better results since using an R-com incubator
