right the floor is all nailed together, and i've run down the edge with the circular saw, so we have kind of straight edges

(bit of a tip, make sure when you are putting the cross pieces on, that the original slats are actually straight)

...... well it looked straight when i started ..... ok we may have a slightly not oblong chicken house.

have pulled loads more pallets apart, so tomorrow i'm starting on the walls and the door

i wish my body worked properly it's a pain haviing to keep sitting down just when you get going

anyway have found a better way of splitting the pallets, than bashing them with a hammer (too many split planks) i've got one of those chisel things that builders use, a wide one, i've been knocking it between the plank and the support, and levering it off, they come off much easier....... i'm half way through the back wall now hopefully will get that finished today, then start on working out how to make the nest boxes ........ it's very exciting, wish they had taught me something useful in woodwork ....... i may have to go and buy a tape measure soon, cos i'm sure i'll need to measure something when i get round to the sides..... been taking lots of piccies, will upload them later, mostly they show, that you can work in chaos, but it would have been much better to remove the hawthorn hedge trimmings, before starting to build stuff (they don't half hurt when you stand on them)

i need a labourer really, so i can just sit and eat cakes and give orders

ok i decided to make another thread for the piccies, keep them all together and with a title that's easier to remember
