well the nest box is all lined(except the ceiling) with beautiful laminate flooring, gotta be the poshest nest box around lol, glad it's a big nest box, cos otherwise climbing in it to fit laminate up the walls would have been a nightmare. gonna put lino on the floor of it (would have done it before i came in, but can i find any of my stanley knives it's already much warmer without any draughts blowing through it, so in theory it might not be as cold in there as i thought
it's full steam ahead now, well as much steam as i can muster without killing myself lol, determined to get it done by weekend, so son and his mate can put the roof on on friday, and i can get them in it on saturday fingers crossed.
well the nest box is finally finished, have dropped so many bits of wood on my head it hurts ...... top tip, do the inside of the nest box before you put the roof on
anyway, the lino is in, the laminate is attached to the walls and i have put the beading that was meant for the kitchen (till i moved the cupboards round) all round the edges, so it all looks dead pretty, and i shall be moving in tomorrow
Well done you! I've spent the day doing laundry and catching up on the housework I expect you'll be glad to get those lovely little poop-machines outside now won't you!

ok today and yesterday has been very productive, the roof is now on, though needs a few nails and a few bits chopping off and filling in, door is on, door frame is attached, though the side the door is on needs a few more nails cos after it'd removed the posts on the right numerous times, i realised it was the left one that was a bit wobbly ..... was going to get the lino down today, but it's too flipping heavy to move round ..... it's dead posh proper lino, not the cheap stuff that's in the nest box ........ if i ever manage to get it laid it should last forever (would have put it in my kitchen but it's not big enough lol
was too dark to get pics of inside, so you'll have to make do with the outside for now, just a few bits of wood to add to cover a couple of gaps, and it'll be all done ...... when i've painted it and hidden the manky skip door lol.
tis good innit .... and of course i made the roof myself ........ it's fibreglass too, so no leaks ...... except maybe where i've attached it lol
well ok maybe my neighbour saw it somewhere and brought it home
So when are you moving in Lynda?
