Can anyone recommend a non-toxic filler to fill the gaps in our new coop?

Why do you want to fill the gaps in? I was worried when we got our ark (brand new) as there were gaps between the wood and I thought it would be drafty but have since read that good ventilation is really important.

As far as I know proprietory woodfillers are just sawdust mixed with epoxy resin woodglue?
Don't know whether the glue is toxic or not but it sets hard anyway so the chooks shouldn't be able to peck it out!
I would imagine they would have a whale of time pecking out silicon sealer though.
