Layers mash and layers meal are usually just different names for the same thing. Meal can be combined with cooked veg to make a 'wet mash', which some hens like. If you use just-coked veg it makes a warm mash which can be good in cold weather, in fact you can simply damp the mash with hot water if there is nothing else to add.Originally posted by dozey1 View PostHi i know how you feel, i have been waiting for a few months for my ex-bats
