i already know that theres 5 babies .... the sixth definitely isn't fertile ...... they have all grown really well and are all at the same size ..... saw one moving his feet the other day, but not seen any of them move since ...... it's hard this candling thing lol ..... they do look like they should when they are ready to hatch ..... they just aren't doing it

just been to pet shop, resisted the urge to get a hamster .... nearly got a rabbit, but then saw the price of them ....

Stop panicing!!!!!!
Mine were over due and they just popped out when they were ready, 3 days between the first and last. I think they will be OK they just not ready for the big outside world yet.
I noticed they like to hatch at night when your not watching, so close your eyes and tell them your not peeking and they might be brave enough to start hatching.

i've left them upstairs in the dark ..... i'm not watching honest well just the odd peek with my eyes shut every 8 hours or so, ok maybe 6, ok 2 lol ...... how long overdue were yours?

The first one was 1 1/2 days overdue, second 2 days and the third was nearly 4 days over. So it looks like they only come when they want to and not when they are actually due.

They went into the large brooder in the outhouse today.

Patience, Lynda, they still have a few days yet before you (and the rest of us) panic. As long as the temp. and humidity is right enough, they will hatch. God, this is like waiting for grandchildren to arrive!!
