Linda, If you do finally decide the eggs won't hatch, I would advise you not to open them to see what might(or might not) have been. It will make you sad.

I agree...I wouldn't imagine it'll be a pretty sight. I'd just dispose of them, lovingly!!...and try again in the Spring!

well guess i could give you an update ..... the 2 fertile eggs babies move up and down the egg when i candle it ....... guess that means they are alive then ...... well today is day 16, and i'm trying to work out when they will be born, so right now .... well i dunno, depends if they hatch as bantams or large fowl (they are large fowl eggs but small) guess we'll have to wait and see
