when they outgrow my utility room i guess lol ....... knowing me and depending on the cats, probably when it's sunny .... ie for 3 days next summer. ..... cos at the rate i'm going the chicken house won't be ready till then if they didn't poo everywhere i'd probably just give them a chick flap in my back door.

*is glad chicken slave gave a sensible answer that suits 'normal' people

Very good, but you may want to count them down and when you get to 2 you can sterilise the feeder and drinker etc set up the brooder and sit and wait to turn the light on when you see the first one pip. They can hatch from 19 day 'apparently' as nobody told my lot that

day 11 in the incubator ..... have just candled the eggs again, there are definitely 4 babies ..... one that i think is infertile, and one i still cant tell as the shell is too dark, i'm gonna leave the one i think is infertile, cos as yet i don't quite trust my candling skills. but it's even more exciting now ....... and i'm sure one of them winked at me ..... ok, maybe it was blinking and i could only see one eye ..... only 10 more days

Well talk nicely to the babies while they're still in their shells. Tell them what beautiful babies they are then they'll come out dying to see their new mummy
                                9 days left? = 216 hours = 12960 minutes. Hey, it's going down fast now isn't it
