I don't keep chooks, but when I was a child we had a little Bantam hen called Bunty. We fought like mad every morning about who was NOT having Bunty's egg for breakfast as it was so small. It must have driven my Mother mad listening to that every day.
When we rented a house in Brittany there were 3 hens and a little Bantam cock at the bottom of the garden. We called the cock Chaunteclear and the hens Hester, Agnes and Jessie - because they were the most frumpy names we could think of. (Sorry if that's anybodies name - sure you're not frumpy)
