Bit of advice please!!!
We have just rejointed the stones which make up the pigsty we are converting into the henhouse...and have part of a 17th Century horseshoe sticking out into the inside of the building.
Obviously put into the wall when it was being built to ward off evil or something!
Problem is that it's sharp and I'm concerned the chooks might cut themselves on it. It only sticks out of the wall by 3" max in a C shape, and I really don't want to damage it.
Should I just leave it ( being paranoid) . I had thought of pushing a cork onto it -or will the chooks think it's worth playing with the cork and cut their beaks?
