Blimey Snadger, I paid six quid summodd for my 20kg of Farmgate pellets and that was from the local farmer's co-op!!!
I DID say it was the cheapest in the country........4 X 20Kg bags, all well in date and change from a £20 note........can't be bad can it. Surprisingly though, I can get the mixed corn cheaper at Jolleyes than the corn market!

I thought I'd use this thread as I am looking for a feed supplier myself in the dorset area and want to avoid paying 400% over the odds for layers pellets. I'd even drive to somerset to get my feed as I hate being ripped off!
I've just had a google for you, searching for Smallholder Layers Pellets. There's loads in Dorset and if any are near you it might be worth giving them a ring to see if they also stock other brands. Welcome to the vine Welcome to The Small Holder's Site
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there
Lynda, I've done a search for you too and there's loads in Lancs. See if there's any near your postcode - hope there is!! Welcome to The Small Holder's Site

fankoo maureen, theres one a lot nearer than the others, i've searched for hours and not found that one ........ the others are still miles away lol, but i can even get a bus with my shopping trolley to this one if they don't deliver small quantities and i can't get a lift
I've just been to my local and although they stock smallholder the only mash they had in stock was Dodson & Horrell. May be worth doing a search on their site as they are mainly known for horse feed so may supply another place really close to you - never know worth the try

Shame none of you are in Scotland - I have a 20kg bag of layers pellets, unopened, that I'm not going to even get to before the expiry date. Such a waste!!
I love to talk about nothing. It's the only thing I know anything about!!
Many thanks Maureen, I managed to supplier (Woolbridge Farm Feeds) near ringwood, 12miles for me and came here to post incase anyone else was stuck. I will follow your link now and see if any are closer! Also at £5 ish for 20kg they are well priced (unlike all internet suppliers I found)
