We did a bit of DIY to the hen house yesterday. As I've said before it was a dog kennel that we converted, so it was about 5 inches off the ground, it is now about 4 foot off the ground, so much easier for cleaning and they have loads of extra room underneath it and can be outside when it rains. 
The bantams seem to be getting on better witht eh biggies, I think this is partly because one is moulty so is feeling a little down without much energy to bully them, so the biggest bully isn't bothering too much. That means that Mabel has decided that she really likes them! I found one half hiding under her int eh run the other day! She looked so sweet with just her tail feather sticking out!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is the beginning of things settling down, as it's been 3 weeks and I thought they'd never become friends!
