Chickens that sound like ducks!!!

Seriously...my chickens think they're ducks!!!

They "quack, quack, quack" all the time - really loudly! When you give them bread they run around QUACKING!!

Surely this isn't right - they're insane!! Our cats think they're humans - our dogs think they're cats - and now the chickens think they're ducks!!!

Does anyone else have chickens who do wonderful impressions of ducks?? Or perhaps ducks who like to think they're chickens??

On a serious note - is this a very normal noise, that I just associate with a wee duck??

Oh my...my girls think they're ducks!! Are they transvestites (ducks in chickens clothes)?? translingual?? aliens???

Worst case scenario - if they're just too weird for us, we can always send them to Lynda's...they'll fit right in there!!

well as i've just got back from town,after finding a stuffed chicken in poundstretchers for the babies ....... and what happens ...... i got all excitabubble thinking i could have ducks crossed with chickens ...... but now ....... i'm definitely gonna teach my babies to speak duck

nooooooo it looks much more like a chicken in real life, ok maybe not but he's quite cute lol (to be fair it's a rubbish picture)....... it was either that one or a dead rubber one ..... i thought that would be worse ...... anyway it's a boy chicken ..... so it will be their daddy ....... i also got them a budgie mirror and a little ball .... they gonna be very happy baby chickens
