She's lovely! I'll try to get some pictures at the weekend, the light is dusky up here when I go to work and pitch black when I get home.

Of course you are very far north BW! Our Lad worked up near Reay a few years back (probably before your time) for about 18 months on bird surveys. I think it was checking flight paths and migrations to see if wind turbines would be affected or would affect them. I think he wintered one year on Lewis. Not quite the land of the midnight sun but the days seemed endless in summer and in duff weather it hardly got light at all in winter.

Looking forward to seeing your new ducks though.
