    Oh gawd, gone and done it now, I'm getting some of the festive white batteries picking up 6 for my daft friend as well. The rescue is down for 20th December from Coventry. If anyone else wants any contact Mollie on ian.farrar@bhwt.org.uk

      I wonder if they will be 'white star' hybrids? And what colour eggs they will lay?

            Oh poo!!!! I fancied some of them myself but it's the weekend I'm off to Bridlington for a sisters get-together. Also, I've given away the spare coop on Freecycle and the new palace won't be ready by then Think I'll have to wait a bit longer

              Apparently they are Dutch but I would guess White Star as I've been told that's what is often used for batts.

              Thought they'll add a bit more colour to the yard
