You can have my three...until the purple tinge leaves them!!! Honestly, I've never seen poo this colour...it's so pretty!!!

Think I could take a wee bit of the blue poo in to B&Q and ask them to colour match it??? lol

They'll never get the consistency right though?

When I fed my chooks purple graffiti cauliflower, the poo was bright emerald green the next day

I'm not looking forward to cleaning their house out tomorrow - the poo is an amazing colour, makes it sooooo easy to see as well...saves hunting around in the wood chip!!! lol.

The only downside is they really do look like they've had a blue rinse now - it's comical, but I'm concerned it'll take months to come off!!! lol. Still, as long as they're happy...I can put up with the purple heads!!!

Whoever said that chickens will eat ANYTHING was spot on. When we first kept them there were no special rules about not feeding meat-scrap (or if there were we didn't know about it) and any meaty-rubbish the dogs were not allowed went to the chooks. It all vanished, apart from bones, which went in the fire once 'cleaned'. They also got all kitchen failures (of any kind) which were not fit for dog food. At the time we didn't have a rubbish collection service, and remarkably littel money, so anything that COULD be turned to another use WAS. You'd be surprised at some of the things that went on the fire as well<g>
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

My girls love cucumbers - seeds then the flesh.
Rhubarb leaves - good for their digestion!
Toms, melons, grass, green leaf from the cabbage family
Moist bread - brown over white
Cheese, pastry, Dried Mealworms, crushed snails - shells as well.
                    Tug of war worms.
                    Apples, Berries, Hawthorn berries.
                    Cooked rice
                    Pasta
                    Sunflower seeds
Beetroot (same as Red Cabbage) = red poo
                    Greens give yolks good colour
If they will eat Linseed it helps with Omega 3 in eggs
                    Regards
