The problem is, we all hope and pray our runs are fox proof, but you can never be entirely sure, can you?? It's amazing how Mr Fox gets in sometimes!

Our run has a skirt dug down underground and a small wall built around the edge of it all - plus it's covered with perspex. So, hopefully I can outfox the fox!!

Have you tried googling local breeders in your area Minxie?
I love to talk about nothing. It's the only thing I know anything about!!

Minxie have you tried Coventry they've got whites being rescued on 20th December. I've got 18 booked (6 for a friend) email ian.farrar@bhwt.org.uk I'm not sure about numbers available but worth a try. Mollie and Ian are lovely and it's the Birmingham side of Coventry if that helps.

we got our girls from coventry, we have looked and they are booked up for the 20th and we are away that weekend too.

I will try local breeders but I would really like rescue one's again, it was wonderful to see them as they progressed. the first few days, they didn't even know how to get up and down the ramp to their coop, bless!!. They also got all their feathers back really well and looked so healthy.

they are now buried under the cherry tree, I keep looking out the window for them, they got so excited when you got home and walked up the garden, especially if you had a bowl in your hand.the coop is closed and it looks so sad.
        thanks all

What a shame! But you have the satisfaction that they had the best time of their lives with you It's a hollow feeling tho.
