Lol! I know the feeling! When I first left my parents to move into my own house I couldnt afford a telly, so did without for 2 years, had a stereo and a library card, so had plenty to keep me occupied!

When we bought this house it was a respossession, it was the only way we could get back onto the property ladder, and certainly the only way we could move out of central Manchester to somewhere a bit more rural, but it did have its drawbacks! The previous owners took the central heating boiler and radiators with them, yet forgot to turn the water off, so kitchen was flooded, units rotten and floor tiles lifted, so first week we were in a new kitchen was delivered (and sat in the lounge for another 2 weeks until we could get some time off work to fit it) and we ripped out the smelly rotten units! Cooking was microwave, chip pan and camping stoves, but fun!

We holiday every year camping, its something we both enjoy, and if you've the right kit it doesnt matter if its cold or wet, you can still be comfortable and have a good time, specially when you cuddle up in a double sleeping bag!

Your wedding sounds like being great, just the sort of thing we'd enjoy doing ourselves (we have got plans to drag some friends off to the wilds of North Wales (to a campsite with 2 portaloos and a river to get drinking water from) next year, cooking over a campfire and having a ball, jusy hope the friends enjoy it as much as we do! ) Hope your relatives enjoy themselves as much as I know you two will!
      Blessings

Congrats Yoanbob, Elmo and Waffler! I am not getting married next year (well no plans yet), but we got engaged a few weeks back, so I'm going to be needing all the help from you guys who are all treading that path before me....!!!

I don't need the sort of help that NTG has to offer though - even though his does sound like a marriage made in heaven
