Sorry to hear your news. Its horrible to lose a pet like that, as well as dealing with the aftermath of the theft.

So sorry to hear about your loss, we only had our girls just over three months, and were very upset when Mr Fox got them. Just remember what I was told, that they enjoyed their short time with you.

Thanks folks, it really helps that you guys understand what seems a bit daft to some people. They kind of look at you a bit odd when you say things like "and worse than that (the theft) they killed my chicken". You're all spot on when you say the material things can be replaced but my pet can't.

PS: Hadn't thought about the ebay thing - looks like I shold be doing a bit of detective work meself - lord knows that the police were s*d all use turning up 24 hours after we reported the 'incident'

Sorry to hear your loss. I have been burgaled but lucky enough my pets weren't at home at the time. I worry myself sick that some vandals will get to my birds as we have some pretty nasty people around our way. It is a real shock that they have not only invaded your home but to kill your pet as well is unthinkable. Just try and remember your good days.....

Im so sorry that there are people out there willing to do what they have done to you, your property and your beloved chook. I only hope and prey that they end up with what they deserve. You are not at all daft for getting upset, I would be exactly the same.
