2 or 3 years ago we went on holidays to the small village on the west coast.Behind the camping site were 2 farms, both of them with cockerels. They had a competition in crowing every morning. We laughed at them calling them names every day.The following year the cockerels were gone.I felt like displaying the banner"bring the cockerels back"
Ask your neighbours, the birds might not be such a nuisance as you think

what age do they start to crow? i have hatched ten chicks and they are now about 11 weeks old and there is a magnificent cockerel in the making! I find I stare at him and will him to be a quiet chap!!! however, I do realise that the pot may be his home one day... but how soon???

Mine started crowing at 22 weeks, one went in the pot leaving 2 but only 1 of them crows. He does seem to be worse if he hears something, but other than that a couple of times in the morning and he's spent. The neighbours don't mind as he is at the other end of the garden and can hardly be heard.
