Thanks Sue, I've no idea why she went, she was shiny with lustrous feathers, bright and full combed, active and laying. Bizarre. And sad.

Anyway, I have two mille fleurs sitting on 6 mottled Pekin eggs, and a hybrid banty on 9 lavender and buff Pekins, AND I've managed to arrange a swap of my lovely lemon mille fleur sablepoot roo Sid, with a nice lady who has some Polish bantams, so life's not ALL bad this week!!

2111 minus 4 dead pekin chicks - mix up with broodies at bedtime and one went beserk and killed them. I have separated her as its the second night she has acted in such a volatile manner, the silkie has her chicks now, she is much more chilled. 2107
