    • On the up-side, I have found where the >insert expletive of choice< was getting in. I have been given (OK, I blagged) an old (non-laying) LS to keep my one remaining Battie company, so we're up to;

      2481

      I may have found a home for my two Ganders (Tom and Gerry - No, don't laugh, I also had Barbara and Margot, if you remember!? ) and I have 10 Barn Hens on order when they get 'released' next month. They will (I hope) be brought here at our new place, where I can keep a better eye on them (and it will save me having to mow a very uneven quarter acre! )

                              • Right, I've been through this thread (took me aaaages!) to see where I'm up to (or down to, thanks to the effing Fox According to this thread I have to delete 6;

                                1: Valentino (Asbo) - Rehomed with Laydees
                                2 & 3: My remaining Batt, and her non-laying friend taken by Fox
                                4,5 & 6: Three Roosters in the pot

                                That takes the total down to 2528

                                I can now add 20 'new' Batties

                                That takes the total back up to 2548
