I forgot to say that I took my Cream Legbar to the vet because her belly was horribly swollen and came home without her. The vet couldn't tell what the problem was but it was not going to improve. Her belly was red and tight and her feathers stood out at an angle. She only laid one egg and that had no shell and no membrane. Maybe she was full of the eggs she couldn't lay. Poor thing.

Hi all
I am new to the site. I am glad to see there is such a love for all the feathered friends.
Add to the list my norfolk greys, pekins, welbars, welsummers, ixworths and the random brown hen that just turned up one morning. Hoping to get olive eggers next year.
