Copying this idea offf another forum I visit............it goes like this ..........I have 14 chooks, how many have you got. So if the next poster had 6 he would post 14 + 6 = 20 total, and so it goes on.

and thanks for all the hugs and good wishes.... losing hens is inevitable round here; we've been very lucky compared to some who've had whole coops wiped out by martens or foxes in a single swoop. Kind of pleased in a way that Twink had a peaceful end, and I'm sure Stripes went quickly.

A partridge Wyandotte, a Buff Sussex, A Wheaten Maran and Cream Legbar.

Just put them into the henhouse after an hour & half in the car. They seem bright enough, looking around them and so on. They've not gone into a huddle in the corner.

I could spend all night in the garden peeking through the windows at them!
