Oh...Oh....Oh!!!!! BRILLIANT! How lovely! I want Cream Legbar and Wheaten Maran!!! Bit of a trek for me though.....?
Only 45 minutes I reckon, I had the last of the creamies. She has all sorts, pekins and silkies, scots dumpies, Norfolk greys, Ixworths and I didn't even realise they were there

1157 - 1 - my star barbu d'uccle cock bird - father of my chicks - passed away last night - old age.
but then +1 as i had a surprise Slate Turkey hatch last night! so we are still at 1157 but that might increase as we have another two turkey eggs grinding away!
cant wait until a fortnight....... 6xgold laced wyandotte, 6xmarsh daisy due to hatch! under a very experienced mum too
thanks sue - he had a good innings however. he was old when we had him in for rehoming, cured him of various mites and lice that came with him free of charge, then did the scaley leg and then worming him - all over a period of a couple of months.
Once he passed the fitness test, he was intorduced to the four ladies, and has supplied us with around 60+ fertile eggs for our own hatchings, plus the ones we have sent around in the post. He may have only been with us a year, but at least he went with a smile on his face!
Here is a picture of him in "quarantine" before meeting the ladies. And yes, that is a wedgewood bowl he had his corn in! Only the best for him eh? good night old man
