First one for the pot!

Our chicks are now well grown no eggs still!!!!!!! Think it has something to do with the amount of cocks we seem to have! Out of the 11 we started with 2 died and we have 3 maybe 4 hens!!!!!! Not good.
We segregated one cock today and tomorrow is his day to go! Have read several sites with advice and will take the plunge. Any tips??????? Hubby is doing the deed then i have to pluck and gut.

Just out of interest, how old is he stanhol and what breed?

An Orpington. We still have all of those, 1 definate female, 1 maybe and 2 other males. He is beautiful but big enough to eat now.
The 2 that died were brahmas we have a male of those left and 3 cochins 2 females.
