We're all feeling sad at Chez SueChooks this morning as one of my ex-batts has just died. We've had them almost a year and I hoped she would make it so she'd have had as long out of the cage as in it. Symbolic and sentimental I know but they're so grateful and deserving, who can help it? We still have 8 of the original 12 so hoping they continue their winning ways for a long time yet.

Sorry to hear that Suechooks. They have such hard lives before they are liberated it's a wonder so many live for so long afterwards. And of course, too many don't get a chance. Well done for giving it to her.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
