I think it depends on the type of Eglu that you have...

        The normal eglu -
"The eglu is a coop for the 21st century, featuring spacious open plan living for 2 - 4 medium size chickens or up to 5 bantams"

        "The Cube
The new eglu cube is the ideal way to keep up to 10 chickens in a town or country garden"

        hope this helps

Hi Hawthorns, the mark 2 eglu like wot you and I have is recommended for up to 4 full sized chooks, however I think it could easily accommodate 5.
Where you getting your new chooks from?
