  • Meet the Girls

Introducing the girls on a sunny but very windy day. From left to right:
ChickPea (Amber), Hendrix (Black & O/Hs), Clap Clap (Goldenline & white tail, Bambinos) No name (Goldenline even colouring & mine)

    Drinking Can
Seriously the girls have a lovely vinagery / garlicy drink in a special dispencer but they drink manky rainwater from an old olive oil can - blurgh

    Tyred
Mine (I think) just hanging out on the tyre, drinking last nights storm water from the rim, yum yum.

    Followtheleader
Where one goes, the rest MUST follow.

(Also, not that I'm mentally scared or anything but would you have seen the dustbath in that junk pile - tidy garden time coming soon or what!)

She really has no name, which has sort of turned into her name by default. I toyed with Ginger, Gerri and Oi but just can't settle. I'm wondering about cinnamon but......

Perhaps I should open it out to everyone and pick the one I like best

Please send unwanted tyres to me. Can't get get one anywhere for my girls. All tyre places around here say it's against the law to let me have a secondhand one. Bloomin jobsworth.

I'm not sure they can stop you taking away the old tyres when you get new ones fitted to your car. Places I used to get tyres from were not allowed to give them to me, but they managed to turn a blind eye when I 'stole' some (that was big tractor tyres, for weights on the silage heap).
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

I don't need new tyres for my car at the moment but I have asked family to let me have old ones as soon as they do. Tyre places tell me they have to account for every tyre changed due to fly tipping. I did wonder how farmers manage to get so many to hold down tarpaulin etc.
