All my chooks are gone.
Went to feed them this morning as usual around 8.00 and let them into their run. At 9 am went down the garden checked everything was ok had a good look round the garden as usual and then let them out into their part of the garden (all fenced with 6' fences and weldmesh) came in the house at 9.30 to make cup of tea, at 10am or just before glanced out of the window to see a full grown vixen walking towards the chook house, I shouted and ran down the garden to find 6 dead chooks (well, found 3 and 3 are missing presumed dead) all this in twenty minutes. I am devastated. Could it get any worse ... well yes it could, I have to tell my daughter when she gets home from school, as she normally goes straight down the garden to see the chooks. OH is really upset and son (18) is too, although he finds it harder to express himself as he is autistic. What a sh£t day!
