I've got some girls that aren't named only because they still haven't got full feathers and are a bit indistinguishable - crikey that was hard to spell

I read somewhere that somewhere in the third world (can't remember exact details as I didn't think it would be important) one of the animal charities had to do little more than encourage people to name their donkeys in order for welfare standards to increase dramatically.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

So aunty Flum...when are your girls arriving?[/QUOTE]

As soon as the run is complete!

Today we went to buy a new car. Just a small effort - a Micra - but brand new. We collect it in about 10 days. So Himself decided that we should go next weekend to buy the wood for the hen-run - got the weldmesh already - so he doesn't mess up the boot of the new car! We'll also collect the 2 new waterbutts I've been asking after for 6 months. I try not to nag - that's how we've stayed married for 38 years! But I know the run isn't his priority like it is mine. The new car has come just at the right time!
