Those photos are soooo gorgeous. Love the one who seems to be standing on a blue glove.
Just had another look and two are on blue gloves. One is obviously Pingu, I'm talking about the one which looks a bit like a Faverolles.Last edited by bluemoon; 29-01-2009, 12:27 PM.Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

that's phoenix, she's much smaller than the others, so i wonder if there might be a bit of silky in her, as that's one of the breed options, she always makes sure she gets her share of food though, she crawls under the others, whereas pingu just jumps on their heads
she's cute, can't wait till they get their proper feathers, which by the look of it with all the feathers everywhere, won't be long

well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this!
Troy, (a pekin bantam) about a week ago, started this squeeky sore throat type cock a doodle do! I was really proud of him and it was lovely. But now, he seems to do it throughout the day and evening! He's now driving me mad! nothing has spooked him, dont think hes talking to the seaguls on the roof, anything i can do? If he's not chasing the other two around he's making a racket!!!

He's just very pleased with himself...at the moment I have 2 adult cockerels and 2 teenagers 'calling for Strepsils!!!!'
At least every 10 mins one of them is crowing ( or trying to)..but I'm in the countryside so the noise isn't too bad.
2 of them will be for the pot ( the youngsters) when they're big enough.
I've got to the stage when I know which one is calling!!!!
Only answer is to pass them on to someone else ( to eat or be a hubby for some girlies) - or eat them yourself."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Now Basil's got this crowing lark perfected he wants to show off every hour on the hour!! at least so far he's only started yelling at 6.30am once (at least I didn't hear him if it was any earlier!) Rowan's only crowed a couple of times, but why bother when he's got Basil to do it for himMy girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there
