Can I please ask what wormer you use?

None of my ex-batts use the perches, they sleep cuddled up together. They've not had dirty bottoms however so I don't think your girls have dirty bots from not roosting.
Mine have had worms and I do know there are lots of different kinds of worms and lots of different wormers, and not all of them work. It sounds more likely that it's a change of diet though. Perhaps they found some big juicy slugs?
Re the dust bath. Some chickens make their own but it's a bit difficult when the weathers so awful. Mine have a big container full of earth, play sand and ash. It's under the coop to keep it dry and my lot love it.

Thats fantastic, mine have to make new dust baths (the trees give a lot of shelter from the rain) every few days cos the ducks come along and take over residence (i tried providing one in a big tub but one of my ducks decided it was a good place to build a nest....

Don't worry about Lynda, she's the most accident prone grape here, we're used to her maiming all parts of her body on a regular basis, especially when it involves the psycho bunny

I think we SHOULD worry about Lynda. If we don't she might set psycho bunny on us! Best keep on her good side (if she's got one)

I mean if you haven't hurt it or anything Lynda ................................. honest!

Re. the question of wormers. Some people swear by Verm-X some use Flubenvet. Flubenvet demonstrably works. Verm-X I think is a sort of preventative - makes the gut unpleasant for parasites. However, I've hear of worm infestations surviving Verm-X but they don't with Flubenvet. Verm-X is herbal. Your choice really.
If you use Flubenvet you only worm twice a year - Spring and Autumn are suggested.
