Didn't think of doing that I was too excited at getting them, couldn't wait to pay and get them home!

Yep, it may help to gently damp the eggs for the last few days. Some people belive it makes the shell slightly easier for the chick to break through. Use warm water......
Duck and goose eggs need more humidity than chicken, but it is possible to hatch a 'mixed batch' if you damp the waterfowl eggs daily (a gentle dab with a damp sponge worked for me) to mimic the way Mama duck goes to the water and comes back with wet feathers.
The one thing that didn't work was mixing duck and turkey eggs. Chicken eggs will mix with either (less fussy).Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
