Homeless Chaps

Would anyone fancy giving a home to a young fit and handsome Buff Wyandotte cockeral?

I have two chaps; hatched on the 23rd of September last year; yellow cockeral [yellow legband] & grey cockeral [grey legband]

I'm in Lincolnshire & Hopefully pics will work!!

The plan was to eat any cockerals which hatched; made sure we didn't give them names hence the coloured legbands, trouble is......................... they have got to be known as 'Yellow Cockeral' & 'Grey Cockeral', I know it's not 'Fred' & 'Charlie' but they are still names and we now know them individually so that didn't work

I am keeping two of the hens and one cock from the same clutch though, this is the team on day 1.

They look much bigger than mine- I think I'll go and weigh the new one which hatched yesterday- just to get an idea!

Are there reasons other than the OH for this situation? If 'just' the OH, then keep on about it and show them some of the threads on here. Madmax was very reluctant to have chooks but he adores them now we have them - he relented to 'shut me up'

sorry cant' offer them a home, but how old are they? i have one that looks very much like them that i'm sure is a cockerel, but he keeps looking girly now lol

my OH is not impressed lol .... but he knows if i get something in my head i'm gonna do it, and he likes it when i'm happy ..... and he doesn't live here anyway lol
