been on pellets for ages ....... though they don't like em, so i mix em in and put yummies with them like home made bread and cat biccies oats and boiled slug and make into a mash (mostly pellets), about 4 times a day .... if i put pellets in they bury em to make me think they've eaten em and stand there telling me they are starvingLast edited by lynda66; 17-02-2009, 12:53 PM.

I weighed my eggs for the first month- cos I'd never seen a bantam egg before and it seemed tiny!!!!
Then I realised the first eggs were often smaller to start with- and then they stopped getting bigger/heavier and now weigh 32-36g ( well they did until they were sat upon!)
I've just bought some medium 'normal' eggs - and they look HUGE!!!!!!!!- goodness what a large egg would look like in comparison- mine seem so 'normal' now until I put them into an egg box!
No more weighing needed for me- at 60g for a 'standard' egg, I know mine are 1/2egg for cooking"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
