Oh goodness!
Just clearing the stuff off the sidetable [every thing is dumped on it & stays, if anyone ever nicked it they'ed have the lot] and I have found the letter that came with the Wyandotte Eggs which hatched on the 23rd of September and they are BUFF WYANDOTTE BANTAMS!!!!!!!!!!!

I never twigged they are larger than the bantys I have & they just look like a younger version of my other girls.

This means that the chaps I'd like a home for are bantys

My bantams lay 32-36g..sot of half the wight of a 'normal'egg

I imagine different breeds of banties will/may produce different sized eggs???

This sounds a bit like my house. I always say if the burglars get in they'll just leave again as they'll think we've all ready been done over.

I can't understand the rest. Do you mean your boys aren't boys, that they are girls after all or have I got it all wrong? Sorry I keep re-reading but perhaps I am being dense or have missed another post.

ROFL I can see what you mean Ha ha ha!
Right; the boys are boys, I have also got two Banty hens [ancient I think as they have never laid] as well as 6 'full size' hens and the dottie boys are larger than my banty girls but smaller than the full size hens, so I just thought they were growing even though my OH who works away from home kept insisting that 'they've not grown much this week' but there is another post something 'chaps', [oh I can't remember what I called It]
