well they enjoyed the bonfire, i made em a small ish temporary run so they couldn't cook themselves, and chucked em some grass, and slugs and worms ..... and they went to bed about half six, it was the funniest thing, the last 2 nights i've helped them up, and down in the morning, but this morning they were down already at 8am wanting brekkie, so they decided to put emselves to bed at 6.30, and they all wanted to be next to the window, took em about 15 mins to get emselves sorted, but think i need more windows lol, they kept pushing each other off, and pingu did her normal, wait till everyones lying down, then climb over the heads to get to where she wants to be, buttercup just left em all to it, and carried on scoffing lol..... so they are now all snoozing happily, and pingu was snoring when i came in, and i didn't burn the shed down

yup, i put em on layers when the chick crumbs ran out, i think about 4 weeks, but added wet liquidised cat biccies to it cos they need extra protein, and just added everything to their mash pellets, including liquidised veg ...... from a few days old they liked carrots parsnips cabbage broccoli turnips corn etc, but can't eat it whole so basically everything was liquidised till they could eat it and i've been feeding them about 4 times a day..... thing is, i can't get em to eat the pellets now without making them into a mash grrrrr they'll eat em covered in hot water but bury em if i try to get them to eat them dry trying to tell me something lol
they are eating much less now they are outside for some reason, maybe it's all the tasty soil they keep munchingLast edited by lynda66; 21-02-2009, 07:35 PM.
