Must be in celebration of the warm weather cos I got 1 yesterday as well. They're pretty amazing aren't they! I'm about to crack mine into a carrot cake mixture - it's the only thing to do with such a big un.

Did you take a picture? I think we're supposed to be holding an egg comp later this year or something. It should pop up in a search but I think it was either Lynda66 or maybe Shirlthegirl who suggested it.

Cardinal Puff Puff the Third the second (long story but some of you may remember) laid a huge egg today - 93grams!! Picture shows her usual egg alongside today's whopper. She hasn't missed a day for weeks so where she found time to brew this is a mystery to me

I think one of my girls must have a sore bum today, or she's walking funny and I didn't notice. When I went to check for late eggs this afternoon I found a HUGE one! Most of the eggs are 65 - 85g but this one was 102g! My friend has taken a photo (on the scales) and I'll post it on here as soon as he's downloaded it from his camera. We're having it for breakfast tomorrow so we'll see if it's a double-yolker
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

I must get some better scales, haven't been bothered to weigh some of the whoppers we've had lately as my scales are in 20g increments
