Me too!! The egg weighs less at the back of the scales container than if placed at the front. Shame it's not the same for our bathroom ones

Well here's the egg It was a double-yolker and made a delicious omelette this morning for breakfast. The 3rd picture is against one of the usual sized eggs (65 - 80g) for comparison

my boyf works on a chicken farm for the eggs (free range) and everyday there are loads of huge eggs and tiny eggs (with no yolk). I'll have to get him take some photos and bring the big ones home. If we do have a competion i'll only enter the eggs from the chickens at home. Having the selection of the best of 50,000 a day wouldn't be fair lol

I believe the tiny eggs with no yolk are known as 'wind eggs' - or by those less couth than me, 'fart eggs'

Well Madmax had our big egg in an omelette tonight - I think it was a double yolker but as it went into the jug the yolk/s popped so I can't be sure.

Finally the Australorps have started laying as we had 4 eggs yesterday. We got a 90g egg this morning (which I assumed was from Puff again) and younger son bagged it for brekkies - Madmax broke it into the pan to find a regular egg yolk and one of those tiny eggies inside it - the whole lot stank!! I guess it might be the egg system of the australorps getting on track.

Dog is now tucking in to a fried egg
