hello and a belated happy new year to you all yet again i need some help please Rhoda my 11 month old chickens poo seems to be a bit on the runny side my other two girls are fine it just seems to be Rhoda she has been wormed along with the other girls any help much appreciated

She might have eaten too many slugs / worms / grubs etc. There's something on the Omelet site that shows you different kinds of "normal" poo.

no 2 poos are the same ..... mine do all sorts ... today i noticed extra wee in some, others were sloppy and others were 'normal' .... i don't think theres anything to worry about unless the chook looks off colour

I've also got a very similar problem, I've got four girls, and three of them usually poo normal, but one of the girls is doing runny poo's most of the time. This has been going on for a few weeks now, and is making a mess of the feathers around her vent. She does some to be happy enough and is laying almost every day. She seems to eat the same amount of layers pellets as her sisters, and I also give them poultry spice & grit. They are free range, so could be pecking anything in the garden, Any ideas what to do??

I've got one who originally had no feathers on her bum. I took her to the vet who recommended Canestan. This partially sorted her but she still has dirty feathers. Mine have been wormed but it is sometimes said this can be caused by worms. It wouldn't do any harm to worm them if they've not been done recently, specially if they're free ranging.
