      • Good morning everybody. I had a very early night last night cuz I was exhausted after all the stresses and eggsitement of the day. During my night-time wanderings what did I find? Another baby almost out of the shell and 3 eggs with holes. Got up this morning and there's 4 more beautiful babies Grand total so far is 6 out of 12. Yippee!!!!!!

                • Morning Auntie Mo and BIG congrats, they are fabulous.

I don't know if you remember 'Lucky' my little chick with the problems after hatching, well anyway she has turnout to be a welsummer and she was the lighter shade with stripes. She still hasn't grown as big as the rest but she is perfectly formed. Enjoy them when there small because in 4 months or so they will be as big as your older girls.
I wish I had a cockeral in that breed as they are magnificent.

                          • was just thinking though, if you get 7 out of 12, thats very comparable with the 6/10 i got, so maybe buying on ebay and posting isn't so bad after all

Because I put them in the incubator at 9am on Thursday 12th February, I counted that as Day 1. If I incubate any more (ever) then I'll count the day I put them in as Day 0, will save a lot of the stress!!!!
