    cleo spent most of the incubation period curled up on top of the incubator, twas the middle of winter and the warmest place in the house lol ..... if i ever get another incubator, i'm gonna get one with a see through roof, isn't it annoying you can't see through it. i'm sure they will hang on so you can watch them

      Mine has a window/door at the front so you can see straight in, but it ends up being like a TV at hatching time.

                I got the dates wrong, today is day 20, tomorrow 21. Still nothing happening yet but I'm not panicking (much )

                  According to one site, the Welsummer cockerel is what the K*llogs cockerel picture is based on. They're lovely looking hens too

                    I chose them because I think they're absolutely stunning to look at. My ex-batts will always be my favourites though

                                Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmph still nothing no signs, no nowt. I've been making my bread this morning just to keep me occupied and stop looking in the incubator every 5 minutes I walk past it and have a listen if my hands are dirty, then go and wash them so I can have a peep
