I keep telling them and playing chicky noises to them and I've told them there's a lovely special house for them and everything but they're not listening! One does keep cheeping at me every so often though so maybe she's answering and I'm not fluent in chick, just chook. Maybe if I said bokbokbokchookbok to them it might help

No, I think this is going to be a long drawn out job Might as well get some sleep and see what tomorrow brings. Little one's gone to sleep I think and the others aren't doing anything

My first one to hatch in the incubator done the same, started mid afternoon and didn't hatch until 2am with the loudest cheep I've ever heard (it woke me up). So they don't like to hurry, but it will be nice to wake up to a little one in the morning.

Well I'm a night-time-wanderer I only sleep in 2 hour stretches with an hour awake in between so I'll be trotting up and down stairs during the night I think ...................... unless I take the incubator up to bed with me

Oh yes, forgot to say that the one that's definitely pipped and cheeping has now got a definite crack of about 1cm in it

Right, it all seems quiet again so I'm off to bed. If anything happens during the night I'll post on here so you can get the news first thing in the morning. Night night everybody and thank you for your support xxx

Well you're offline now Lynda so you must have gone to bed

Still no babies out of the shells The definite pipped one from yesterday is still exactly the same, no progress. Another one has definitely pipped but again, at a standstill

Sarah, congrats on you 4000th post
